When can I expect to feel changes?
The effect is dependent on the health condition treated, generally, you will feel changes within 3 days, long-term conditions may take longer. Herbal remedies are not a quick fix, the good part is that you will see lasting results with our treatment and your medical practitioner will know from communication how to amend your medicine accordingly
Are there any side effects?
In most cases, the answer is no. There are precautions which need to be taken. Some herbs are not suitable to be taken with alcoholic beverages as it can (potentiate) make the effect stronger.
Prescription drugs are to be fully disclosed so the contraindications (side effects) may be taken into account. In addition, self-medication with any other substance may be hazardous if not disclosed to your medical herbalist health and well-being consultant.
Do you refer to other health professionals?
If it is believed you may need urgent attention or require further tests Herbal Abode will refer you onto a relevant health provider. Your practitioner is competent in venepuncture (blood drawing, phlebotomy) also so it is possible that blood test may be drawn in house.
